Interview with AT Magazine

Audio Technology Magazine Game On Edition Interview With Harry Mack

"Whether you're wrestling a three-eyed spectre inside the missile tube of an alien spacecraft or leaping from log to log as if your life depends on it because you're a frog that can't swim, chances are your predicament is supported by a musical accompaniment. So who makes it and how?"

Australia's Audio Technology Magazine did a feature on videogame audio design. It touches on the development process, technology types (both hardware and software) and different audio studios.

Along with myself, videogame sound designers Frank Klepacki and Michael Huang were interviewed.

Frank works from Las Vegas specializing in rock/pop tracks and Michael does a mix of sound design/editing/mixing services from Los Angeles.

If you're interested in game audio design from the perspective of a general expert in cutting-edge audio technology, give the article a read.
