New Audio Studio!

Having decided to settle in Southern Ontario indefinitely, I've finally set up my first real audio studio since my move up from California.

It is a third-floor penthouse loft a short drive north of Toronto. It's built in a turn of the century building conversion. The building is solid brick, minimizing sound vibrations and it has thick concrete floor built on steel supports. The 25'x16' dimensions with ceilings sloped at 135⁰ avoids most echoes.

I purchased it early in development for ease of customization. Some of the additions include soundproof doors and windows, lead-sheet sound barriers behind ceiling drywall, and in-wall speaker wiring.

Here are a couple of photos - more will come as I finish setting up.
